Store Features & Options
With our online stores, you’re not limited by the amount of products you can have. Each product will have it’s own unique product code (otherwise known as an SKU), gallery of images, product description, and price. Our stores cater for the mega-store with thousands of products and the corner-store that sells a few niche products.
All products will have the ability to be assigned a certain stock level – what happens after that level has been reached is up to you. Products can be either be set to allow backorder, or to be removed from the catalogue entirely. Another nifty feature is the ability to send out low and no-stock notification emails, thereby making sure you’re always in control of store.
Sales and Discounts
Every store owner needs the ability to run sales and discounts. Usually this is associated with a special periods (e.g. Valentines, Black Friday, Christmas and News Years), end-of-line clearance sales or just a plain discount for a loyal customer. Either way, discounts play an integral role in any online store. With our ecommerce websites, you’re able to set fixed or percentage-based discounts and even tie it to a scheduled date. Finally, you’re also able to limit the use of a discount code to a specific email address – ideal for when you want to provide store vouchers.
By default, our ecommerce stores offer flat rate, local delivery, local pickup and free shipping options. Each of these options is available with the own pricing points and settings, with some of them only being possible within a certain geographical area. For the more advanced stores, we have several other shipping options available as store add-ons.
Our online stores has a comprehensive set of options when it comes to tax. In general, our clients usually include the tax rate in the prices of their products, although this is by no means a requirement. Taxes can be set on a per product basis, or for the store as a whole. For international stores, tax rates can be set on a local, regional, national and international level.
Ecommerce stores depend heavily on timely and accurate reports to run your store effectively. Reports are generated automatically and includes basic statistics, e.g. sales over a set period, stock reports, discount usage. For a more comprehensive set of reports, additional store add-ons are available.
